The Northumberland Challenge Award gives young people the opportunity to try new things, take on challenges, work together and make a difference in their community.

The award is offered to all groups and young people attending CVYP, giving everyone the chance to take part and complete the challenges in a way that works for them.

The award is made up of 6 exciting missions:

🏃 Take part in an outdoor or sporting activity
🍽️ Cook and serve a three-course meal
🏕️ Spend a night away from home in a place you have never been before
💰 Work with friends to organise a fundraising event
🤝 Find an organisation or individual who needs some help and give 12 hours of your time to support them
🌟 Take on a final challenge that encourages you to try something new and work as a team

The Northumberland Challenge Award has been endorsed by the High Sheriffs of Northumberland and the Northumberland Youth Work Network.

It’s all about having new experiences, building confidence, developing skills, helping others and creating memories along the way. 🙌
