At CVYP, we are a registered provider of the Arts Award, giving young people the opportunity to be creative, explore different art forms and discover what the arts mean to them.

Arts Award offers different levels, allowing young people to choose a pathway that suits their interests, abilities and experience. Young people can explore a wide range of creative activities, learn about artists and the creative sector, develop their own skills and share their work with others.

The award is completed through portfolio work, making each young person’s Arts Award journey unique to them.

The five levels of Arts Award

🎨 Discover – An introduction to the arts for young people of all ages up to 25. Explore different art forms, discover artists and share your experiences.

🔎 Explore – Develop your knowledge of different art forms and arts organisations, create your own artwork and share your experiences with others.

🥉 Bronze – For ages 11–25. Get involved in the arts, experience the arts as an audience member and share your skills and interests with others.

🥈 Silver – For ages 11–25. Explore the arts in greater depth, develop your own creative skills and gain leadership experience by running a small arts project.

🥇 Gold – A Level 3 qualification for young people aged 16–25. Develop your own arts practice and complete an Arts Leadership project, creating a portfolio that reflects your individual interests and journey.
